Active Shooter Response for Schools, Churches, and Businesses

This presentation is designed from the standpoint of what you the teacher, member, or employee can do when it comes to active shooter situations and not focus on what the police are going to do. The goal is to expose you to a wide variety of techniques, technology, and tactics that will have the greatest impact on your ability to make changes for you and the people in your environment. We will discuss ways that can greatly enhance your safety and reaction before, during, and after these cowardly acts of violence. This course is a must for all schools, churches, and businesses.

Disruptive Student Management

This course address the difficult dangers that teachers face when they are forced to control acts of violence directed at another student or teacher. This course focuses on controlling actions of physical violence through techniques designed to manage or contain aggression and physical actions of violence.

Workplace Violence

During this block of instruction we will discuss; the definition of workplace violence, past incidents of workplace violence, examples of what usually contributes to violent outburst, who can perpetrate violence in the workplace, indicators of potentially violent behavior/individual, factors contributing to workplace violence, elements of a workplace violence prevention program, the four things that an angry customer wants, things we can do to prevent situations from escalating or erupting into violence, when-how-what to report if an incident occurs, and response to an active shooter.

How to Provide Great Customer Service

With the current economic situation as it is, good customer service is more important than ever for the bottom line of your job and business. Church Security

Most church leaders do not expect security and safety incidents to affect them or their members, but not being prepared to prevent the preventable can lead to unwanted incidents, liabilities, and losses. 30% of all churches experienced a threat or other emergency in 2008. Reports showed that 75% of churches had no security plan in place.   Today’s churches simply must be prepared for a variety of threats and emergencies. This course is designed to address the duties and responsibilities of designated security personnel, observation skills, legal aspects, close protection protocol, use of force, defensive tactics, firearms qualification, traffic control, and first aid.

Defense Against Home Invasion

The course is designed to expose you to things that can help you make safety improvements immediately and on a shoe-string budget. Self-Defense and Awareness

Given the political climate, perpetual state of uncertainty, the relentless reckless rhetoric to divide us as Americans, the intentional disregard in following and adhering to the U.S. Constitution and upholding and enforcing Laws of the Land, and the fundamental dismantling of our nations security plus the violence that is being perpetrated daily in our own communities (Murder of the real estate agent in Arkansas, the killing of the college student in Virginia, the beheading of a women in Oklahoma) along with the school and workplace shootings being reported on the news day in and day out, people are desperately looking for a self-defense course that quick to learn and easily remembered and performed. This course is design specifically for that purpose. We will discuss what self-defense is, statistics, what makes up a crime, before: situational awareness, during: stance, verbal commands, target areas, and strikes, after: run, evaluate situation, evaluate injuries, summons help. Firearms Safety

This course is designed for the individual who has limited and/or no knowledge or background in firearms. This course will teach you the main firearms safety rules and get you familiar with firearms and ammunition so that you will be able to handle them in the safest ways. At the end of the course you will be confident in your safe gun handling skills and be able to handle firearms safely. Other topics covered include; Revolver and semi-automatic pistol nomenclature, disassembly and assembly of your firearm, firearms cleaning and maintenance, safe firearms storage and transportation.

CCW Missouri Concealed Carry Firearms Safety Course

This course of Instruction will provide the trainee with the required training set forth by the state of Missouri for a concealed carry endorsement. Topics covered include; handgun safety in the classroom, at home, on the firing range, and while carrying the firearm; basic principles of marksmanship; care and cleaning of concealable firearms; safe storage of firearms at home; requirements of the state for obtaining a certificate of qualification for a concealed carry endorsement; laws relating to firearms as prescribed in chapter 571.111, RSMo; laws relating to the justifiable use of force as prescribed in chapter 563, RSMo; Physical demonstration of your ability to safely load and unload a handgun and demonstrate marksmanship with that firearm; Perform a live firing exercise of sufficient duration with a handgun, from a standing position or its equivalent, a minimum of 20 rounds at a distance of seven yards from a B-27 silhouette target or an equivalent target; and Perform live fire test of twenty rounds with a handgun from a standing position or its equivalent at a distance from a B-27 silhouette target, or an equivalent target, of seven yards.

CCW Advance Level I

This course is designed to take the law abiding CCW citizen to a skill level that in no way can be achieved in the basic CCW course. After a review of firearms safety rules and basic marksmanship fundamentals, this training focuses on the developing skills required to effectively and successfully use a handgun for self-defense. You will learn different concealed carry techniques to include drawing and shooting from the concealed carry position, efficient weapons handling, malfunction clearances, speed reloads.

CCW Advance Level II

This course is designed to develop in you combat accuracy and speed and to give you the skills needed to engage threats quickly and accurately and to keep your firearm up and running during a lethal confrontation. This course focuses on the student drawing and shooting from their concealed carry position, also how to quickly clear malfunctions, conduct speed reloads, tactical reloads, one-hand shooting, advance practice drills, use of cover and concealment, target identification and multiple target prioritization. This course employs a variety of exercises all designed to develop more advanced gun-handling and marksmanship skills, helping you get shots on target more quickly with acceptable combat accuracy.

Tactical Handgun level I

Prerequisite: Basic Fundamentals of Marksmanship. This course is designed to improve your accuracy and shooting confidence. The student will learn the movement for drawing the firearm from the holster and presentation. The student will also learn how to identify and correct malfunctions and efficiently reload their firearm. From these basic skills the training will progress into more challenging shooting drills that will reinforce the fundamentals while providing lessons that can be practiced and maintained.

Tactical Handgun level II

Advance Tactical Handgun

After completing Handgun levels I & II, you can progress to the advanced level of instruction. This course brings all of your learned skills together for a fast pace fire-em-up and knock-em-down experience. Students will go through timed stages of fire with scenario based applications that will hone their defensive gun fighting ability.

Tactical Shotgun Level II

This course will allow you the opportunity to develop your shooting skills with your personal defense shotgun. We will review firearms safety and the fundamentals of shooting. You will pattern your shotgun with various loads along with learning how to conduct tactical reloads, use of cover and concealment, clearing malfunctions, and transitions from your shotgun to your handgun. You will practice these concepts during challenging drills designed to sharpen your ability to efficiently and quickly engage targets under varying conditions out to 100 yards. Successful completion of Tactical Shotgun Level I course is a prerequisite to register for this course.
